Hi, I’m Eva!

I can’t wait to help you reach your business goals through more accurate bookkeeping.

Following a 19 year career as a high school math teacher with occasional bookkeeping on the side, Eva Rieder spent several pivot years at a small design firm managing accounts receivable, collaborating on accounts payable and payroll processing, and tracking transactions to prepare month-end close of books. At the same time, she ran a small arts business, and thrived on her regular interactions with clients on a bevy of custom orders. Eva soon realized she missed working with numbers more frequently–but more than that, she missed helping people with numbers, and showing them the power these numbers could provide them.

It was time for another pivot–this time as a bookkeeper and founder of Bright Eye Bookkeeping LLC. As a bookkeeper, Eva merged her skill sets to help small business owners understand their financial figures, and to empower them with these numbers for better decision making and greater business success.

Eva earned her B.A. in Mathematics at UC Davis and her Bookkeeping Certification through the National Association of Certified Public Bookkeepers. She is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and proud member of the Beaverton Area Chamber of Commerce. With her background in education and customer service, Eva thrives on providing excellent client support, and is happy to provide guidance with numbers to help her clients and their businesses succeed.

Outside the bookkeeping world, Eva is a mixed media and acrylic artist, writer, and dancer. She has a deep fondness for social gatherings, karaoke, baking, movement, and being a forever learner always eager to try new things.
